RENATA SERBAN, CPA, CMA, MS
Renata Serban is Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant with over 15 years of experience serving businesses in various industries including cannabis. Renata is always emphasizing the importance of qualified cannabis accounting expertise and dedicated to improving financial literacy of cannabis operators in New York and New Jersey.

Ms. Serban is the Vice-Chair of Cannabis Committee of NYS Society of CPAs and one of the instructors for cannabis compliance and training programs with New York Office of Cannabis Management and New Jersey Business Action Center.

She is one of the principal drafters of the comment letter to the Proposed Adult-Use Regulations in NYS and author of various accounting articles published in Trusted Professional, Strategic Finance magazine, and NY Cannabis Insider.

She is also the winner of 2023 Green Market Report Women's in Cannabis Leadership Award, 2023 Winner of NYSSCPA Emerging Leader Award. Her former team is also 2023 Winner of NJ Cannabis Insider Award for Excellence in Accounting and Consultancy and 2023 Winner of EMJAYS International Cannabis Award.
